Ah yes, the infamous 12-year-old blue cat living with his cat-rabbit family who eventually end up adopting a fish. How can anyone forget Gumball and Darwin’s crazy yet loving friendship and their adventures? The show is 6 seasons long; its first episode was released on May 3, 2011, and the final episode aired on June 24, 2019. 8 years is a long run but it wouldn’t be a lie when we say, this show was worth it! The reason they stopped airing episodes was that the show is getting a movie. It is said to be released sometime in 2022, so if you want to catch up on the show again, this is a perfect time! There is also news of a new television series coming so all Gumball fans out there, it’s time to rejoice!

The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy

The odd trio of a bossy and mostly angry girl, the naïve and curious boy, and the Grim Reaper have never failed to bring about laughs. This show was one of the best shows on Cartoon Network and it was loved because of the comical circumstances and situations that the trio would end up in all the time. Things would get even funnier when you realize that all the characters have different personalities and they don’t really match, however, they always fit together and went on multiple adventures in the real world, and the spirit world as well! Ed, Edd, n Eddy

Three best friends entering their adolescence, Ed, Edd, and Eddy try to survive the drama and hardships that come with puberty. Other than that, the trio is always looking for new ways to make money so they can buy their favorite candy, jawbreakers. However, their plans, more often than not, fail and they are left feeling humiliated. This show went on to be one of the greatest Cartoon Network series and won a Reuben Award, a SOCAN award, and two Leo awards. Dee Dee, his older sister, is very clumsy and yet, somehow always finds a way to get inside his secret lab and cause havoc by accidentally ruining or breaking one of his inventions. Although the parents are not completely out of the picture, they are clueless about Dexter’s shenanigans and his secret lab. There are four seasons of this show and it was running from April 27, 1996, up to November 20, 2003.

Courage the Cowardly Dog

For those of you who have watched this as a kid and loved it, you can probably watch horror movies without a problem now as an adult. If you look back at this show, it is quite amazing how this was aired as a kids’ show and nobody said otherwise. No doubt, it is a good show, but it does spook you! Courage, the little pink dog who was paranoid, lives with his owners, Eustace and Muriel, an old couple, in the middle of nowhere. It seems that all the dangerous, scary, and spooky things are attracted to this house and it is up to Courage to keep his old owners safe from harm. The first episode of the show aired on February 18, 1996, and the last on November 22, 2002. The show is 4 seasons long and was canceled as the producer and writer of the show wanted to start working on another show. You can go ahead and watch the show again, but don’t forget that some things are bound to spook you even today, so proceed with caution!

Johnny Bravo

We absolutely had to add this show to the list because it’s Johnny Bravo! The charismatic and over-confident young man in a black tee and sunglasses is always trying to sweet-talk some girls to get them to date him. However, it seems to always backfire on him due to his somewhat crude comments and he never really understands why. The show has quite a bit of adult humor, which makes it the perfect show to watch now as an adult. It is possible you didn’t understand much of the jokes back then and now, once you do, you’re going to like this show even better!
